How it Works

A Veterinarian will arrive at your home. When you are ready, a small amount of calming sedation will be administered to your family pet member with a tiny needle. This produces a peaceful relaxation, and its an excellent time to say your last goodbyes as your pet gently falls to sleep over a period of 5 to 15 minutes. When you and your family are ready, a small amount of hair will be shaved from the leg, and the euthanasia solution will be administered. In a few minutes, the veterinarian will listen to the heart to ensure that your family pet member has gently passed on. When you are ready, your family pet member will be placed on a blanket in order to care for the body, unless you elect to care for your pet afterwards.
